Zion Women Our Ladies group.
They meet monthly on a Wednesday morning at 10am, September to May.
They manage The Parsonage process and our Election Day Rummage & Soup Sale (see below) and collect items for all our ministry needs.
The Parsonage at Union Deposit of LOVE INC of Greater Hershey (LOVE In The Name of Christ)
LOVE INC's Parsonage Ministry is designed to be a home away from home for families whose loved ones are inpatients at the Penn State Hershey Medical Center. Two former church parsonages have been donated by churches to serve people who must travel more than 50 miles to be with their loved ones but who cannot afford to stay in a local hotel.
The use of our parsonage is donated to LOVE INC and our members volunteer time and/or supplies to manage the parsonage process.
Lutheran World Relief
Lutheran World Relief Mission: Affirming God’s love for all people, we work with Lutherans and partners around the world to end poverty, injustice and human suffering.
We provide monetary and product donations based on their requested needs throughout the year.
Little Free Library - Feel Free to Take a Book or Leave a Book
In recognition of Martin Luther's love of education and in honor of the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation, Zion established, and will permanently maintain, a Little Free Library.
Our Little Library is filled with various genres in children, adult and miscellaneous titles. Volunteers take care of our library and rotate our available books. There are only 3 of these Little Free Libraries in our area which are associated with the Little Free Library organization.
The Little Free Library is located at the entrance of the church, on the covered porch. If you wish to donate any books, please place inside carefully.
